Program Notes:

BITLY is an exciting and driving work all based around the opening motive. This piece uses a ‘super-lydian’ scale to connect chromatic and functional harmonic ideas. Minimalist textures serve as the rhythmic backbone while pulling references from other styles.

This work was composed for the Cawthon String Orchestra directed by Marina Akamatsu.

This work was orchestrated for woodwinds for Drew Hardy-Moore.
